The Fruit of the Law of Attraction

Where does a belief in the law of attraction lead? I’ve seen the skeptical comments about the law of attraction. But I don’t ever take it personally because I know they come from ignorance. Most people critiquing the law of attraction have never tried to sit down and see what people who believe in it actually believe. And, similarly to religions, people will undoubtedly have their own versions. But, the law of attraction is usually boiled down to “you get what you think about,” or “you attract what you feel.” Some people think it means all you have to do is sit around and you can “manifest” whatever… Read More »The Fruit of the Law of Attraction

Why Would a Baby “Attract” Abuse?

I wanted to answer the question that bothers most people skeptical of the law of attraction, and it requires some explanation of a spiritual perspective on life. To an atheist, you are simply conceived and then either lucky or unlucky. You’re lucky to have been conceived in a family, situation, or life in which you have a comforting home life. You’re unlucky if you end up in an abusive and/or neglectful situation. To suggest that someone attracted abuse based on their behaviors of allowing abusive people to walk over them is not too shocking. I think it can be understood by some atheists. But, to… Read More »Why Would a Baby “Attract” Abuse?

Being Thankful for Stress

In the book Before Happiness, Shawn Achor discusses how simply knowing about the benefits of stress can cause you to not have as many physical symptoms that are normally associated with distress. He writes, “Those who had watched the video highlighting the enhancing rather than debilitating effects of stress reported a 23 percent drop in physical symptoms associated with distress (such as headaches, backaches, fatigue). What’s more, on a scale of 1 to 4, productivity assessment moved from 1.9 to 2.6-nearly a 30 percent increase.” He was comparing groups who had watched a video about the negative effects of stress and those who watched a… Read More »Being Thankful for Stress

Ho’oponopono in Practice

In this article, I’m going to share how I actually use the Ho’oponopono Cleaning process in my life and what comes out of it. I do this to show how it can be used to re-set your perspectives or beliefs on a specific subject, usually something that’s angering or scaring you. When you change your beliefs, then your emotional response will change. What Bugs Me I am well aware of what bugs me, and one of those things is bugs. For some reason, I get put into that fight or flight response when I see them. Something must have happened when I was young. I… Read More »Ho’oponopono in Practice

You are Powerful

You are so powerful. I know all about the various limiting beliefs that we tell ourselves. I’ve had interactions with people who keep wanting to tell me how powerless we all are. The most pushback I get is concerning racism, and the idea of mine that the Black Lives Matter movement has a victim mentality. Our society keeps telling us how difficult a problem like racism is to solve. If you are told your whole life that it’s difficult and that it’s systemic, then that is what you will believe even when/if it’s not true. Of course, this self-defeating mindset is not limited to racism.… Read More »You are Powerful

How Dr. Len Healed The Criminally Insane Without Meeting With Them

Criminally insane killers and rapists were sent to Hawaii State Hospital and were healed without ever meeting Ihaleakala Hew Len, Ph.D. It’s a remarkable tale. In the past, I’ve written about The Maharishi Effect where groups meditating together were able to lower crime in the surrounding area. But in this case, it was one individual, and he was performing the Hawaiian mindful practice Ho’oponopono. Dr. Hew Len asked himself, “What is going on with me, that I am experiencing this?” By practicing Ho’oponopono, He took 100% accountability for their mental health problems and healed them. Taking Responsibility Frees You The majority of people today reject… Read More »How Dr. Len Healed The Criminally Insane Without Meeting With Them

Using Affirmations To Attract What You Want

A lot of people in this law of attraction field use affirmations. Affirmations are short mantras to affirm to yourself that the things that you want to happen are already happening. Because what you believe, you perceive. If you believe that you are healthy, and you focus in on that belief, then that is what you will see more of in your life. Your brain is like a camera in that it can focus on a specific idea while allowing everything else to become blurry. When you focus in on something it grows larger and you can see it more clearly. Using affirmations helps you… Read More »Using Affirmations To Attract What You Want

Affirmations For Each Chakra

Remember that when you say affirmations, you should believe them. Don’t say affirmations you don’t believe. Either figure out a way to see how it is true in your life in some way, or skip that one. See my article “Using Affirmations To Attract What You Want” for more information on why. Root Chakra: Security Affirmations The root chakra is all about feeling safe and secure. Try to think about feeling stable when sitting down or standing on firm ground. I am safe in my body. I am exactly where I need to be. I am connected to the earth. I am at peace with… Read More »Affirmations For Each Chakra

Freedom Convoy Protestors’ Positivity Is Their Magic

I’ve shared a meme saying “Your joy is your magic” before. Though some might consider it woo nonsense, there’s actually a very good logical explanation for why being happy (versus being fearful or spiteful) helps you succeed. In this article, I want to discuss one reason why the Canada Freedom Convoy protestors are immensely more effective at protesting than Black Lives Matter was in 2020. The Happiness Advantage If you’ve never read the book The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor, I highly recommend checking it out. There have been many studies that show being happy gives you a competitive edge. One of the studies he… Read More »Freedom Convoy Protestors’ Positivity Is Their Magic

Should you “Take the Beating” or Defend Your Boundaries?

Hearing the Prosecutor suggest Kyle Rittenhouse should have just taken the beating rather than defend himself with a gun amazed me. But, after thinking about it a little longer, it really shouldn’t amaze me. I see how this belief is playing out in our United States everywhere. Because we’re not really united, are we? People Project Their Fears Externally A large segment thinks just carrying a gun is provocation. But that’s the same as saying just wearing a short skirt means you were looking to get raped. I mentioned in a previous article that the fear of guns would disappear if the affected person got… Read More »Should you “Take the Beating” or Defend Your Boundaries?
